Abstract

Attendance systems are crucial for school management, including at MAS Al Riyadhul Janah. In today's advanced digital era, a web-based attendance system offers a modern solution to improve the efficiency of recording employee attendance.  Currently, MA Al Riyadhul Janah uses a conventional paper-based system for recording student attendance, which is inefficient. This new system is expected to simplify and expedite the attendance process.

This research employs the Waterfall system development model.  System design utilizes the Unified Modeling Language (UML), while application implementation uses PHP for the web interface and MySQL for the database.

The final product is a web-based attendance application for students. This application is expected to improve the accuracy of attendance data and simplify the monthly attendance summary process.
